What exactly is needed

Technical reader
- Point to a sourceThe cheapest first contribution. Someone seeing us for the first time can find the work we missed.
- Give a numberOur quantitative claims are the weakest part. Anyone who can count may outdo us here within an hour.

- Write an argumentThis needs someone who can build a line of reasoning. It is the very work academic philosophy is short of.
- Refute itWe ask for objections separately. A position nobody has tried to break is worth nothing.
Generalist
- Ask a questionAnyone with a broad view can see a gap we did not. It is the most valuable contribution and the easiest one.
What happens after your message
- Choose one itemOpen a task on a page or in the general list of gaps. You can also propose a new question.
- Send your contributionPress the button next to the task — it opens the bot @synchronism_bot already carrying that task’s context. Then simply write your argument, source or objection in a single message.
- The contribution is reviewedThe curator checks the content and, where needed, clarifies it with the contributor. Adding a source, changing a position and opening a new question all depend on the outcome of that review.
